Like most Amish dawdy hauses, it is a ranch style home so you don't have to deal with stairs, but with a full finished basement. So even if it is smaller than the home we just moved out of, there is plenty of room for sleeping, visiting, and playing. The outdoor patio is completely private and perfect for gathering most of the year! Even in the winter because of our newly installed hot tub! And the rest of the yard is completely fenced with an extra high chain-link fence which you and your pets will appreciate. And in case you wondered, we have plenty of electricity. Leave your car in the driveway and walk two blocks to where the traditional Frankenmuth attractions begin. If you know Frankenmuth, you know that everything is centered on "Main Street" and there is a slight incline from the river up to Genesee Street. We're at the top of the 'hill', so you get to start with the downhill walk. If you don't want to walk back, we’ll come and bring you back! Regarding accessing our home. You'll get a code for the front door and for your private bedroom. The bathroom is shared by the two guest rooms, but currently we are only booking one group at a time, so each group will have a private bathroom. We split time between Michigan and Florida, and like to camp, so you may meet a couple of our adult kids who help if we are gone. Unfortunately, because of a guest that refused to take responsibility for the actions of their pet, and Airbnb not backing us up, we must require a damage waiver from pet owners.
