The hotel is near mountain hills and forest, half an hour from Innsbruck, obviously good opportunity for skiers. Stayed at a two bedroom apartment--rooms are big enough, with beautiful views. The so called Wellness Area seems relaxing, indoor pool is nice even if not spacious; modern yet traditional looking sauna and steam room. Staff is very friendly and well-meaning, hotel manager is respectful. Breakfast buffet is very good, as well as the salad bar.
Furniture in rooms and restaurant is really old-fashioned and worn-out, absolutely not inviting. Upholstery is stained, carpets look dirty. The bathrooms are dark, amenities very basic for a 4star hotel. Trash from previous guests was not taken out at time of check in. Food for kids is rather a joke--for a Kinderhotel especially: there is no menu card to choose from, only one meal on offer like plain rice with fish sticks or french fries with chicken wings. On top some of the meals were spicy, others salty. Although friendly, the service is slow. The overall impression is totally disappointing. One feels like the very high price per night was a rip off not justified with neither the quality of service, not with the facility itself.
