Rustikales wohnen. Naturverbunden. Optimale Lage des Zimmers. Einfach aber bequem. Landschaftlich herrvorragend Alles i.O.
Hotel was beautifully decorated and had luxurious amenities. Staff was exceptional and location was close to lake Louise , moraine lake and the village I highly recommend a room with a river view because if your room faces the parking lot you will encounter the very loud noise of a freight train passing through frequently sleepless in lake Louise!!
We rarely write reviews but have found something special in The Post. Andre is a local legend, an architect of the Canadian modern skiing syle, who brings warmth and grace to a superb Swiss-style small hotel offering everything: in-room fireplaces, pool/hottub/steam/full on-site spa, afternoon tea with pastry chef offerings, and one of the finest restaurants (a wine list that puts Chat. Lac Louise to shame) and casual pub on-site plus impeccable, friendly service from the moment of arrival at the front entrance. I slightly injured a knee skiing, and received a personal call from Andre inquiring if he could be of any assistance. Wow. This hotel is for those looking for a "small hotel" remote from the hustle of Banff (Lake Louise is intentionally a tiny community without a bar scene, etc.) operating at the highest levels of service. It is quite expensive, but actually delivers on the price tag, a rare sentiment for me. Lake Louise is an awesome HQ to explore the Canadian Rockies which are stunning. This was a ski trip, and we can't wait to get back for a hiking trip in the summer months. We travel fairly often, rarely to repeat locations, but have every intention of becoming regular guests at The Post assuming the continuing good fortune to do so. Having to leave.
the location, the beds, the toilets, the staff was un personal, and instrumental.
Loved the decor and fireplace and scenery. The Babel rock formation has challenged me to return to fitness so that I can return to climb it. The room size could have been a little bigger - room to sit in front of the fireplace.
Staff was very helpful and attentive. Setting is remote and beautiful. Understand July and August are heavy tourist months breakfast food could use a bit of variance
the scenery and the helpful staff
