the location is in the national park , and easy to access the cradle mountain. the room is designed to meet basic needs for families and bag packers, especially the warming system kept us quite comfortable. the price is quite fair. Chalet is self contained accommodation. there are outdoor bbq and other facilities. The laundry is 4dollars per wash and 4 dollars per dryer. I could hear clearly a sneeze from my friends next bedroom. u may need a earplug to prevent noise or voice nearby during your rest
It was cosy and welcoming. We had a lovely snow fall and australian native animals coming right up to our porch.
I like the cosiness of the lodge, especially with the inclusion of the fireplace. None.
They serviced the room daily-had the fire lit for us each day if we went out. I'm sorry but the pillows were awful! The continental breakfast is a little misleading- better to take your own if you can.
Beautiful cabin - rustic and charming - native animals at your door steps. Wood stove - lovely fire. Very private, very large bathroom with deep bath tub and a high and comfortable bed. You will have to light your own fire - keep an eye on it in the early morning or it will go out and it will get very cold in the cabin. You will also need to wash up and clean up before you go. Unfortunately, we didn't have very clean people staying in the cabin before us so we had to re-wash all the dishes before we used them because there was dry food pieces stuck on them still.
The wildlife around - particularly the friendly possum that came straight in when we opened the door one evening! Not terribly good lighting - maybe the not very bright weather didn't help though
