The Belle Chambre was spacious, beautifully decorated in white with wooden floors. Large windows overlooking the small port of Ste Marine. Free and uninterrupted wi-fi. Walking distance to a couple of lovely restaurants. The staff were friendly and most accommodating. The restaurant offers a gourmet menu. We stayed for 10 days but the problem is that the menu (three options) only changes once a month. Breakfast can also get monotonous after a few days,, although the spread is impressive.
staying in a luxury hotel and in peace and quiet surroundings The Hotel was perfect for us
We liked everything but the price!!
The farm has been beautifully converted and the fixtures, fittings and furniture was very tasteful. We did not find the 1 member of staff we saw very helpful and thought they were off-hand.. When we complained about a leak which dripped all night we were told it was all OK because it was being fixed that day - didn't help our night. My husband speaks good French so this was not the problem. Paying 150 euro per night and then being charged to borrow bikes which were there for clients seemed 'tight'. There was also a booking mix up which booking.com dealt with quickly and apologised on La Ferme's behalf.
