This place was great! Given the limited options in the area, we were a bit apprehensive about booking this guesthouse, but it was a pleasant surprise. All 7 rooms were booked with other travelers (mostly European couples about age 25-50) and there were 2 full bathrooms we all shared. The guesthouse has a lovely atrium dining room which overlooks the fjord. We stayed here until 11pm drinking wine we had brought and watching the sky change colors. Icelandic horses roam the fields nearby and there were people playing golf on the nearby course even at 1030pm. It's clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok, your usual icelandic bfast of cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs, jam, and toast. The owner/proprietor was friendly and efficient. I'd stay here again!
The only thing is that the floors are concrete and echoey, you can hear everyone opening and shutting their doors late and night and early AM. Bring earplugs or a white noise app on your smartphone.
