Nice room, close to Merida's Central Plaza. Neighboring bars play very loud music until 1 am, making it very hard to sleep.
Great location, large room which was quite clean. Great breakfast, delicious and a lot! The pool!! Room rates were great, a real value given the location, room size, pool, etc. Overall, except for the perfumed smell, I would recommend. The entry to the building is very poor. Definitely not a good first impression. The room furnishings are tired. The worst part was the strong, overbearing perfumed 'smell' in the room. I could not sleep because of it.
The location is in the city center near the zocalo and full breakfast buffet that serves dinner at the same time taking it around 9:00 in the morning and very secure indoor parking for our car. The unpleasant smell of drains in the bathroom of our room 357 and that the wifi works well only in the dining room and adjacent sofas.
Quick and friendly staff. The price was affordable The room has a strong smell of glue the first day and the sink was dirty. The bathroom flooded after every shower and there was low water pressure for hot water.
Breakfast was awesome, good quality versus value The new rooms are decent, however old rooms are totally below average, declined if you are offer one of them.
The hotel maintains a colonial and historical atmosphere with newer amenities.
This is my first trip to Merida in a few years, I was used to the semi-tired hotels in the city, I tried the Intercontinental and was blown away by the service, huge rooms and free wireless internet everywhere including rooms. A must go hotel when in the area.
Great Experience the hotel is beautiful, the food is good it has the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a great time in Merida.
