This hotel is situated on some of the loveliest grounds I have ever seen. It is landscaped with fruit trees and a stream. The stream is filled with cute birds, turtles and fish. The beaches are lovely and the ocean looks like a spread in a magazine. However, It is not English friendly. Signs are listed in all other European languages, and the staff on the whole, most of the staff do not speak English. US citizens, especially if they are not fluent in Spanish, are not tolerated well, especially by the young Italians. They speak openly with disgust about Americans, and push them off the sidewalks. It became very uncomfortable. The rooms are 2 star. No basic amenities like a clock, a tub that drains, or a flat screen tv. The largest problem was the beds. They had less give than sleeping on a carpeted floor, and the pillows were old and lumpy. Dining was limited. There were few choices. Quality meat was rationed by staff who walked around and sliced of pieces onto your plate.
friendly staff. main buffet food was good (except the fruit). I would recommend the hotel if it were cleaner and drinks were better. I booked an all inclusive deluxe room with pool view...there was no view! ROOM was dirty overall:curtains had mildew on it, decorative pillows were also smelly, decorative ottoman was very nasty. The inclusive drinks were HORRID! I had to drink beer.

Customer service was excellent. The staff was trained to accommodate any requests. Also the food was excellent and the selection of food was extensive. At times vendors trying to sell time shares, excursions, etc. were a little intrusive, but probably not outside the limits when compared to other resorts.
This resort was wonderful. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and huge! It took 5 minutes to walk the stretch from one end of the resort to the other. The food was top-notch - we tried 4 of the 7 restaurants while we were there and all the food we got was delicious! Tip - ask for recommendations - some of the plated meals at the restaurants were better than others, and the wait staff were able to easily point you in the right direction. Also, my husband is a big guy and learned that he could order 2 appetizers if he wanted to, which made him very happy. We did end up with the preferred package, which actually offered a lot of perks. We had our own private pool (with pool bar), our own private area on the beach, and a 'clubhouse' that we could go to for appetizers and drinks. We were there during march madness, and the clubhouse was extra nice because we could go there and get a prime couch spot to watch a couple of games. The bartender in the preferred club was also very good - he remembered my husband and my dad (we also travelled with my parents) and came and asked them if they wanted the same drinks each time we walked in. Speaking of bartenders, they were all very good - they made delicious drinks (try the drink of the day), were willing to customize them, and knew a wide variety of drinks (we ordered Caipirinhas and every bartender knew how to make them). Overall, this resort was wonderful, and we had a really great stay. This resort was very large, which didn't bother us (more food, pool, and beach options), but could be a downside for some. The only thing that was slightly annoying was the number of people they let into the resort to sell you things. At other all-inclusives I've been at, they limit the sales function to the lobby, and at Dreams, there were people by the pool and on the beach walking around to try to get you to go on excursions. They were not overly pushy, so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. There is also an office in the resort where they try to sell you timeshares. One of the staff in the lobby tried to get us reeled in, but was willing to let us walk away (she was a little bit more pushy than the others who were selling things, but we only heard from her once - she didn't come up to us again after we walked away). Again, it's not the end of the world to say no and walk away from anyone trying to sell you something on vacation - it just may be a bigger deal to some people than to others.
Birds and nature if they were any. Noisy and breakfast was the same. Maybe should change theme of breakfast
The food was pretty typical for an all inclusive. Staff was very good, property well taken care of. Beach clean and plenty of spots to sit and relax.
I stayed at the Resort in early December and had an amazing time with my group. The grounds are very well kept and the Beach atmoshere very lively. All of the dining options were very good and did not experience wait times at any point. The best part of the stay was the warmth and helpfulness of their well seasoned staff.
Casa de Campo is a golfer's haven, but if you are a nongolfer, it has much to offer, too. The service is excellent, the food is good and the horseback riding is fantastic. This is a huge property with restaurant options where shuttles must be taken to some. Golf carts are supplied for getting around, but not suitable for night time. The beach is about a 10 minute ride from the main resort area. I would have liked it within walking distance of the main area. Nevertheless, this is a top notch resort!
Did not honor our all-inclusive package and online service refused to honor its guarantee.
Loved everything. We got the all inclusive and food was outstanding, nothing like regular all inclusives. We like it so much we went back and rented a villa w maid and buttler
