This is a completely separate space complete with private entrance, dedicated parking behind the unit and is detached from the main house on the property. Located in a historic neighborhood of the Twin Falls area. Walk or Bike to local dining, shopping, and parks. The Space: #StayinMyDistrict Twin falls. This recently updated guest house is small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in comfort! The sleeping area makes up the majority of the space with a comfortable king size bed with quality linens and pillows for a good night's rest. The kitchenette and dining area are open to the sleeping area with a separate bathroom for privacy. There is lots of natural light and the open layout makes this quaint space the perfect getaway for a couple or a solo traveler. Tucked into the back of the property offering plenty of privacy, the historic space is small but definitely lives large in style & comfort. You will have everything you need to feel right at home. The cozy cottage bungalow is a completely separate space, with a private entrance, in a neighborhood located downtown in the beautiful Twin Falls area. Quick walk to happening pet friendly restaurants, micro breweries, shops, an old time theatre and the whimsical Mary Alice Park. Miles of hiking, running or Mtn Biking trails near your location. Convenient to College of Southern Idaho, Shoshone Falls Park, and more! Take a day trip to Hagerman, Idaho (40 minute drive) and explore fossil beds and a natural flowing hot springs. Boise, Idaho is located 2 hours from Twin Falls which includes Boise Airport, Bogus Basin Ski Resort, and historic landmarks in the capital of Idaho. There is no closet, but there are convenient hooks, a hanging bar and a luggage rack that provide plenty of space for guests to store personal items. The cottage provides comfortable bar stools located at the counter. Next to the sleeping area features a kitchenette with sink, a small apartment style refrigerator, and microwave. The dining counter area also doubles as a space to work from home. There is a small bathroom with updated fixtures. Essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and paper products are provided for your convenience. There is also a hairdryer and quality towels. There is one reserved parking space in the alley at the back of the guest house for guest use. There is also FREE street parking on Main in front of the main house. Guest Access: SLEEPING AREA: this small space is packed with comfort considering the KING size bed is the largest use of the space. Sleep easy with quality linens and pillows. KITCHENETTE: There is a drip coffee maker, blender, electric skillet, and toaster with plenty of dishware to make eating in and preparing small meals convenient and easy. *Please Note, this is a kitchenette not a full kitchen (there is NO stove, oven or dishwasher). BATHROOM: There is a sink vanity with extra shelf space and hanging baskets for storing guest items. There is a small walk-in tile shower. HOUSEHOLD AMENITIES: All linens, towels, and basics such as hand, dish soap and cleaning products are available to use. A steam iron and ironing mat are available for guest use. There is also coffee, cream, sugar and tea available. SEATING: There are two barstools at the counter, great for dining in or working remotely. Plenty of counter space to spread out and work at your laptop during your visit. *Please note there is NOT a sofa or any additional seating besides the barstools and the king size bed in the guest house: TV/WIFI: There is wireless internet available, the modem is in the unit but we do not keep Ethernet cables on hand; the access is available if you choose. There is also a smart TV with streaming capabilities to catch up on any Netflix or other apps you choose. The TV is wall mounted for easy viewing. PARKING: We do have designated parking directly behind the guest house off the alleyway to make parking convenient. You are welcome to park in front of the main house if you have an additional vehicle. There is free street parking available but it is not reserved. OUTDOOR SPACE & YARD: The yard is a work in progress and there is an RV being stored in the yard which does detract from the yards visual appeal. There is a patio table and chairs in the yard that are for you to use. The solar lights in the evening make the private yard really enjoyable to relax in. You may see someone come by to do lawn maintenance or adjust sprinklers in the backyard of the main house otherwise you are welcome to use the entire yard as there is no one occupying the main house.or 2nd guest house. MULTI PROPERTY LOT: This is a separate guest house located at the back of the property and a main house at the front of the property but they are not attached. The SEPARATE second guest house, and main house are currently being remodeled but there will not be any work that would affect your stay as it is a completely separate building. *Please Note - We mention the construction to be upfront that the neighboring homes are not in the same updated condition at this time as the guest house you are renting. There are no additional occupants staying in the other homes but there may be work being done on them during reasonable work hours. We do mark the yard as a SHARED SPACE as there may be someone entering the back yard to access the second guesthouse that is being remodeled but they will not have any access to your unit and will respect your privacy. The overall property is a work in progress but we are so excited to share this recently remodeled unique historic guest cottage! The Neighborhood: Centrally located, in what is considered the “Downtown Area '' located between The College of Southern Idaho and the historic shopping district of Twin Falls. This is a quiet residential neighborhood with older homes. Many of the homes are being updated and remodeled as the neighborhood has started to gain more popularity. Blue Lakes Boulevard is the main throughway in the City of Twin Falls and is 1 mile from the home. Blue Lakes Blvd has a high commercial density and tons of shopping, dining & amenities. This is where you will find chain restaurants, the Magic Valley Mall, and chain retailers such as Target, Lowes & Costco. Nearby parks include Mary Alice Park, Barry Park and Baxter dog park where dogs are allowed to roam free from their leash.Baxter park is a 5 minute drive from the home. There is also The Twin Falls City Park-located.5 miles from the home- where local events take place: Music, Vendor Shows and much more. There is a Farmer's Market called Market on Main every Saturday through October. 3.3 miles to Perrine Bridge and Canyon Rim Walking Path, 6 miles to Shoshone Falls and 3.5 miles to St Luke's Hospital. Getting Around: The property is centrally located and has a Walk Score of 79 out of 100. This location is Very Walkable so some errands can be accomplished on foot. This is a great neighborhood for walking as restaurants, groceries, shopping and entertainment are within.5 miles of the house. The location is approximately 2 miles from the College of Southern Idaho, 6 blocks to the downtown historic shopping district, and 3.5 miles to the Magic Valley Mall. Walmart is 2.4 miles from the home. Famous Idaho attractions are easy to access; Sun Valley is an approx. 1.5 hour drive, 1.5 hour drive to City of Rocks in Oakley and 40 min to Hagerman. There is a local airport but most people fly into Boise (2 hours) or SLC (3.5 hrs). Twin Falls Idaho is Located in Southern Idaho, 130 miles from Boise. Twin Falls is best known for Shoshone Falls, the Niagara of the West, and bountiful outdoor adventures. Twin Falls has a thriving agriculture-based economy, which powers its reputation as a preferred location for food science, production and processing companies. Other Things to Note: ~ You must be over the age of 25 to rent any of our properties. ~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are not allowed to be on the property after 10pm. ~ NO SMOKING anywhere on premises. This includes Outside. Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal. ~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights. ~ Up to 1 pre-approved, well-behaved under 25 lb Dog allowed for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $50. Please notify us if you are bringing your pet AND be sure to read and understand our Pet Policy. PET POLICY - We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. - There is an additional pet fee of $50 per pet, as per my listing details. -Pets should not be left unattended at the property inside or outdoors. We do have a kennel that can be delivered on request for an additional fee. -Please pick up after your pets in outdoor areas immediately. -Pets are NOT allowed on the bed, any furnishings or linens. Evidence of pets on furnishings or linens will result in an additional cleaning fee to guest. -Pet fee accounts for additional cleaning and normal wear & tear due to hosting pets. *Pet fee does NOT cover damage or additional cleaning above and beyond reasonable for the unit.* Interaction with Guests: I can be available via text, email or phone. We are local and just a phone call away if an issue should arise. We manage the property for the owners who live very close by and are working the remodel of the of the other home on the property so they may be on-site during reasonable work hours but not at the guest house you are renting.
