My husband was in a band that was playing in Seymour Wisconsin, so we decided to book a room in Green Bay for a little family getaway. After reading some of the reviews about this hotel, we booked the stay. Words cannot describe how fabulous this hotel was, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was deliciois! This is a hotel worth coming back to. Anyone looking for an amazing value, this is it.
Great room. Loved the layout. Bathroom at the back and plenty of storage.
Nothing! It was very loud, and noisy they should have let me know before arrival that it was full of high schoolers. I paid for breakfast in didn't receive it. The room was so cold. No outlets near the bed. You had to pay to park in the parking lot what hotel charges to park what a joke. First and last time ever going to that hotel.
Service, cleanliness, and location of hotel. Long waits at elevator.
When I looked at the hotel on the kayak website it listed how many rooms the hotel had and mislead us into thinking breakfast was included, it wasn't. Then when we check in we are told there will be a $5 fee for parking. This is Green Bay Wisconsin and the lot wasn't even a quarter full. I can see paying to park in Chicago or Milwaukee but this is ridiculous. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past but we won't again. ST Brendan's Inn is just down the road or the Hampton Inn is right next store to this hotel.
Location - close to downtown and Titletown Brewing Co Staff was very friendly and helpful. Charge for parking in their lot. $3 for a bottle of water in the room. Tap water is very heavily chlorinated so they should provide a cheaper alternative.
Luxurious and very clean room. The on site staff was very supportive and professional. When I made the reservation the information I received from Hyatt's 800# was different from the information I received from the front desk.
Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Newly remodeled. Clean and affordable. Parking was great on Friday. The pool was cold, 5/5 showers were room temperature at best. The cold shower was not really needed on Valentine's weekend. The parking was stymied by a wedding that created their own spaces and filled the lot. The skywalk that held the adjacent parking was very inconvenient to find and move through. The elevators were slow as molasses on Valentine's day and that was not very helpful on a mass exodus of a Sunday after a wedding.
Spacious and clean rooms Free breakfast included was not that good. The rooms were a little old and need modernization.
The breakfast. The bar had no kaluha so they weren't able to make one of Your Signature Drinks ( what's up with that)
Loved the room and the staff was very nice. The price was amazing for the room. Pool was a bit small for the crowd there. But the pool temp was perfect and so was the hot tub! Breakfast for $10 was just okay. the hottest thing was the coffee. The food was warm but not hot at all, eggs were cold by the time I got to my table and the only salt, pepper, and ketchup was on the buffet.
Great room and lots of space to relax. Stayed here during a motorcycle trip and the "living room" space with couches, TV and fireplace made for a nice to relax after a day on the road. Haven't stayed at a hotel that provided so much for the dollar. Apparently some kids had the room above ours and were partying and drinking rather loudly and were extremely loud at the basketball court. Luckily we were tired and the rooms have adequate sound attenuation that it didn't bother us much. However, this hotel is such a nice place that I would've expected that the staff would make rounds and keep issues like from occurring.
Roomy Noisy kids above us
One of the best in Milwaukee. We had to move to another 4 star (hyatt) on the same street after a day due to lack of availability at intercontinental and it was much inferior.
The rooms are old & out dated. The beds are horrible.
Quiet room, easy walk to the show at the Riverside, cozy bedding, perfect room temp, courteous and helpful staff, excellent and affordable restaurants within walking distance. Arrive after 6:00 pm and leave before 8:00am so parking very reasonable at $8. everything was wonderful
Great location Take of and clean the ac vent better
Great customer service every time we visit. You can't beat this great downtown location.
Beds not that comfortable
The location is fantastic and the price of the rooms great. The room with 2 double beds my adult children had was pretty disgusting. The lamp had huge stains on the shade and the mattresses were all stained and disgusting looking ( they always check for bedbugs because my oldest son travels a lot and has seen them in hostels and nice hotels). The room was just very dingy and looked like a 2 star hotel Our room with a king was better but all the mattresses need to be upgraded and replaced. Carpets need cleaning etc The Kilawatt for brunch was okay. Food was not great....bloody Mary's were not so good....food adequate
Great hotel if you are attending a show at The Pabst Theater or Milwaukee Rep since all three share a common lobby. Check in was quick and friendly (thanks Cory) and the room was spacious and clean. The candy/RedBull/bottled water purchase basket was a bit strange, but the rest of the room was fine. Parking is expensive for the area ($27).
If you need to be in Downtown Milwaukee, the hotel is well located, has parking (though it's really expensive with in and out privileges -- and I say this as a Bostonian used to paying out the nose for parking), and the public spaces of the building are really nice and well maintained. The gent working the desk when we checked in was also a delight and gave lots of useful recommendations about what sites to see and where to eat. A+ to that guy. Our room itself was pretty low end, especially for an Intercontinental. The air conditioning didn't work, every piece of furniture was damaged, and the walls and bathroom showed a lot of wear and tear. When the front desk staff was alerted the ac didn't work, the guy simply said, "Oh, sorry." D- to that guy.
Fire alarms all night
