Upon arrival I was able to check in to my deluxe suite at 11am instead of the 3pm check in time. I was immediately greeted and I actually felt like they wanted my business. The room itself was awesome with a king size bed in the room with a stand alone living room area with a pull out couch bed. Very modern amenities and decor. Kind of a home away from home feel. The free hot breakfast was great as well. This will be my hotel of choice from now on when I travel to Knoxville twice monthly..Great job comfort suites
All around great stay...it was easy to locate, clean, friendly place to stay.
Bed was comfortable Carpets were very stained as was the couch and smal seat in the room.
Did not have coffee maker in room but had coffee. Treadmill in workout room did not work. Did not bottle water @ store at check in & when asked if vending machines on floor staff at desk could not tell me. When told staff at check out about coffe pot & treadmill (and these are important to me) did not even offer an apology.
The location was nice and the lobby looks nice. The room size was nice and the bathroom was just fine. Our room smelled funny. We had to spray perfume to help. The beds sunk in the middle and the furniture was in bad shape, stained and tore up.
I like the non-smoking environment all the building. And very clean room too. The room is so small compare with what it displayed on website.
Nice selection of foods offered. Everything was fresh and delicious. The fresh fruits were nice. The plastic cutlery is an absolute joke. It was so flimsy and awkward to hold. Almost impossible to cut a slice of bacon. Absolutely useless for trying to cut a waffle. I had two knives break cutting a waffle. Also, the foam plates are thin. I sliced right through the plate, leaking waffle syrup onto the table top. For a few dollars you could upgrade to a nice chinette style plate, and decent cutlery.
Liked the on-site dining and bar. Site is quite and family friendly. Bathrooms a little cramped in rooms. Needs better space utilization.
Staff was friendly and room was cosy. Charged for parking
It was clean and well lit, the decor was very elegant. That's about it, the rest a collection of minor aggravations coupled with a major safety issue. 1) I had to pay for parking and told to park on top of the garage out in the weather while people who were paying to park for a local sporting event were allowed to park inside the garage. 2) The windows to the room were poorly sealed and even with the thermostat set at 80 the room was miserably cold. When I called the front desk to request another blanket, I was told there was an additional charge. 3) The entrances and sidewalks are poorly lit and the curbs painted a dark gray color. Upon returning from dinner, a short walk up the street and much later in the evening, I nearly broke my ankle when I thought I was stepping off of the sidewalk but was stepping half-way off of the curb, nearly falling in the process (no alcohol was involved). This needs to be addressed as a serious safety issue. 4) If a hotel is going to offer room service, dirty dishes need to be picked up promptly, not left in the hallway outside the room for hours and hours. This was the first and last time I ever stay at this facility and we travel A LOT.
The shuttle took us right down to the old city where all the venues are and picked us up, but only till 11pm. Unfortunately the festival ran later than that. In an effort to ease the hangover on the second morning of the festival, we went to the restaurant at about 11 am, and the bar was closed. We asked for a mimosa and a bloody Mary and waited about 15 minutes with no drink. We went outside after we gave up and the server chased us down, offering the drinks on the house, but we were just over it at that point. One time before i stayed here and was having sex with my girlfriend and the manager actually called the room when we were done and asked us to keep it down. Thin walls, apparently. II'm going to the Hilton next time I stay in Knoxville.
Very clean, wonderful staff, excellent location to the downtown activities. The pool was smaller than I would have expected from such a nice hotel. There was no hot tub or sauna.
Rooms were spacious, comfortable and breakfast was average for continental style. I would stay there again. We were on the 2nd floor with the elevator on the other side of the motel, but the stairs were not as bad as they could be.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, breakfast And coffee hit the spot.
