I really liked the room. It was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was small but the coffee and waffles were great. Exactly what I needed at a very reasonable rate. Was missing a few towels but one call to the front desk and that was solved. The room was nonsmoking but smelt a little like stall cigarettes. Once there for a while the smell wasn't bad.
I liked that there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The bathroom needs upgrading. My room did not get cleaned the first night of the stay. There was no one to bring extra towels to the room. The location is poor. I had expected to room at the updated Hampton Inn located near the mall. The room was not as it appeared in the online photos. Overall I was disappointed and would be careful not to stay there again.
Sauber, komfortabel, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Nichts
Komfortables Bett, gute Dusche, weiche Handtücher. Der Teppich war abgenutzt, die dünnen Wände zwischen den Zimmern.
Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Breakfast was excellent and fairly priced. Convenient to the things we were doing in Tupelo. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
A bed to sleep in. The front desk clerk gave me a room key to a stranger's room! The hallways were hot, no A/C. No local places to eat. Not enough towels in the bathroom. Smelled like cigarettes. Run down, not Hilton quality!
Staff was fantastic. Helped us find a laundromat because theirs was out of service. Great recommendation for dinner. Extremely clean (just reconstructed after the tornado). Comfortable beds. Maid even came running after me in the parking lot with something I'd left in the room (we'd talked to her in the hall). Nothing.
The front desk guy was nice and easy to make changes and fulfill requests The first room we were, the toilet did not work so they put us in another room on the next floor but it was very inconvenient moving a 6 year old and a 1 year old at midnight. (We had a late check in and we all were tired) So we get in our second room and there was two spiders in our bed. I looked over it because at that point I just wanted to rest. When we got up the next morning I pulled out the iron to iron my family's clothes and the cord in the iron would not stay locked. It kept pulling it back in and eventually water was all on their clothes. I love Marriott but this one just wasn't up to par. For the inconveniences I could've stayed at a cheaper hotel. At my check in there was also a couple that just got married and were still in their clothes and dress. They had trouble finding there reservation and the front desk clerk seemed to have no urgency for the matter niether did I hear and apology for the inconvenience. I definitely wasn't expecting to have the experience that we had. The parking was also really bad. I guess because Texas Roadhouse is right next door to the hotel. I had to park in the back, in the dark with two little ones. Not the most comforting situation at all. I won't stay here again. Especially not at $109 when it's only worth about $60
