The staff was very cordial and helpful. The room was quiet and very clean. Lots of activities. Hard to differentiate between those "free" amenities and those for which you are charged. Also not enough complimentary newspapers in the early morning.
Rooms were functional. Staff was well trained. An additional Resort FEE when checking in. It's NOT really a resort. And if it was , I would like to know about additional fee's in advance.
Great staff; comfortable and attractive rooms; good bar. The only aspect of the Hyatt that I didn't like is that it is a little attenuated from downtown Sarasota, requiring us to use a car to go downtown.
The service and the amenities were great.
I liked the amenities and the location of the Resort. The beds sucked.. I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels only and for a Ritz the beds sucked, the sheets were not soft... and I always forget that the rate is inexpensive because they charge you mandatory resort fees per night at check out. Needless to say valet is $24 per day. I feel like I am flying on commercial airlines with the nickel and dimming. Just increase the price and make it all inclusive.
Staff is excellent. Very nice hotel.
Convenient location. Great view. They have one of the most friendly, outgoing, accommodating and polite staff I have ever come across. Very nice pool & hot tub facilities - separate areas for family and adults - a nice feature. Quality lounge chairs & towels at both the beach and pool. Only ate one breakfast at the resort but the food and service were both excellent. I would certainly return. Set your GPS the first time coming here - when approaching from the north there is a palm tree partially blocking their sign so you could easily drive past the entrance before you realize where you are. After that, it's no problem. Also, use Washington St, etc. to bypass St. Armands Circle as you will avoid slow traffic around the circle. This will bring you right to their entrance.
The location and beach are great. The poolside tiki hut is a place I could stay all day, and the pina coladas were great. The rooms are old. Mold in the shower and baseboards are falling apart. Our group had 4 rooms at the resort and all of them were the same (and yes, all had mold on the shower curtain). When paying $200+ per night, you should get a lot more.
the beach and the shoppes room was old and out dated tiles broken carpet ripped room was just run down.
