It was quiet and relaxing. I didn't like the long walk to my room as I was exhausted.
I liked the rooms were clean and handicap accessiable. There was a long wait to check in and the room was not ready. The parking is not free and at 230 a night the vlue was horrible cause everything was an extra charge. Breakfast is not included and the parking was not crowded but to have to pay for parking at $15 a night and no one to monitor people parking and making sure people knew how to park in a single parking space.
Customer service and super comfy beds Not sound proof! I could hear toilet seats dropping, guy next door sneezing, toilets flushing and every conversation in the hall way. My apt is way more sound proof.
Our son lives nearby & I love that I can walk from this hotel to his apt which is in the Addison "village". There is also a beautiful park that I & my service dog love to walk in. We stayed here when it was the Holiday Inn & everything was clean, well-kept & easy. The change to Radisson has brought renovation & new staff. Let's just say they have a ways to go before it's complete & comparable to the HI days. Short-staffed. The front desk was often un-manned. The once cheerful dining area is now closed. There used to be self serve coffee & water. Not anymore. The once beautiful lobby is now a jumbled mess. One of the two elevators was out of order. The renovations make the hotel look unkept & disorganized. The trash cans outside seemed to always be over-flowing. Their wifi was inadequate. I did use the pool & it was clean & refreshing.
Everything was great! The elevators are extremely slow.
Hotel has a convenient location close to Belt Line road where all the restaurants are. It was also close to where I was traveling for business. Did not like being greeted by cockroaches in the bathroom when I arrived. Additionally, the carpet was like a sponge and gross. Didn't seem like they cleaned the bath tubs either, felt like they had a greasy layer of nastiness to them. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you need a cheap place to stay.
I loved the room. Spacious. Separate living and sleeping areas. I didn't know I was going to have a kitchen! The place made me feel like I was at home and the staff made me feel like a king. I was at a conference at a nearby hotel where I would have paid more and gotten less. I will definitely return!
It was a winter night and the heater had not been turned on until I arrived. Most of the night the room was very cold and it took over 8 hours for the heater to heat the room. Three story facility with no elevator. I had to carry my luggage to the top floor and had no idea hotels were allowed to have multiple stories with no elevator.
