The room was well-appointed and bed was very comfortable. It took me getting angry with hotel management to get basic necessities replenished including soap, shampoo, tea, and towels. My husband actually had to dry off with a hand towel at one point. And in an attempt to rectify the situation managemebt delivered a martini tray, including a full-sized bottle of vodka, at 9:30pm on the Sunday night before our checkout. As I'm not a raging alcoholic and was originally requesting things like camomile tea, this gesture struck me as odd and misplaced. There were other little things which occurred throughout our stay, and individually these things would have been negligible. It was the combination, however, which made for an overall negative & frankly unpleasant experience. At a $300 price point, providing the basics is an absolute necessity, but going above and beyond the basics is an expectation. I very rightfully held this hotel to a standard higher than the average budget motel and not only did they not deliver, they fell far below.
Beautiful clean and great location overall it was a great stay but there was one minor thing that left a negative impact The airconditioner had some issue it was very loud all night. It was very hard to sleep as the air would roar every 30 seconds there was obviously some mechanical issue as an interior architect I know this is not normal. We woke up every hour thoughtout the night making our stay a horrible experience. Beside this it was a great stay.
Very clean and quiet Nice location Paying $14 to self park in a free garage
Everything was easy. From booking at the last minute to the easy of checking in late to late check out. Room was clean and ready. Caffee was on late.would use them and Kayak again.
Hotel was nice. Staff was friendly after we checked in... We came in for a engagement party. My sister, the mother of the groom to be, booked and paid for the room. When we went to check in they said they needed her credit card and ID in person. First off why didn't anyone or the website say that the card holder needed to be there. Second off if this was a business trip and I didn't have the company credit card, would I not be allowed to stay? My sister had to leave her sons engagement party and drive to the hotel. 30mins each way. While we could not check in and get ready till she arrived.... This was super inconveniencing, and very unaccommodating. I would have used my own bank debt or credit cards if I didn't just have a security breach with my accounts. I felt really bad for my sister and the hotel was super unreasonable to work with any solution I tried to come up with.
The breakfast was quite good, a nice start to the day, I would stay here again in spite of the maintenance difficulties, Our taps were leaking and we had to have maintenance come in twice but eventually the problem was solved. The carpet was soaked for days and at one point we had to bail 5 baskets of water out of the sink before it drained,
Lovely room, very comfortable and clean. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Clean, comfortable, Starbucks right outside the building. The ad was not clear that the room was only a single double bed. The hotel was kind enough (and had the space) to fix that problem at the same price, but the ad should be more clear.
The beds were so hard my wife and I couldn't get any rest. With what sleep wedid get, we woke up with neck and back pain. We loved the spa, it sure helped with our pains. I would stay there again IF they change the mattresses; and there were no refrigerators; terrible when you wish to cool your drinks. I am 55 years old and my wife is 44.
