It was a very comfortable little place. There were two very friendly staff that I met and the woman at the front desk gave us a tour of whole hotel before personally escorting us to our room even though we showed up somewhat late. They have 2 jacuzzis heated by natural hot springs and a warm pool also heated by the hot springs. The pool a jacuzzis were open 24 hours and we could wander into the breakfast area and have coffee and snacks all night if we had liked. They also have spa services we didn't have time to try. It was a great little stay, the room was very luxurious and comfortable, not so over the top like I've seen at a number of hotels. We enjoyed ourselves.
The pool area including the grounds were excellent. Very unique and desirable, warm and welcoming. The bathroom in the 2 bed queen we stayed in was beautiful! The room decor was nice. The area it is in is the "ghetto" part of the desert. Looked like blood or something has been splattered on top of the ceiling. It was a big obvious area that should have been cleaned or painted over.
It was fine for the cost. Pretty far from any downtown. It's an old dump that was renovated. The pool area looked pretty but the pool was small. Woke up each morning from noises. Bring your own shampoo caus you barely get anything and it's super low quality stuff. They have an AC unit that makes a lot of noise, but works well. Food at the bar closes at 10 so eat before you come home at night. Everything was clean and looked nice, but they skimped where they could. Our main complaint was the location cause it was a good drive to downtown, but it is close to Vons and Walgreens and you get a mini fridge to put snacks in. No microwave though I reheat leftovers. Overall it was good for the price, but next time were gonna stay in palm springs.
They recently remodeled There was a scent in the lobby and it left little to be desired. While the rooms had been remodeled, they were not very clean. And the cable was out due to weather and we were not informed upon check in. We will never stay again, we wanted something a little more convenient for families. They need to upgrade their front doors to automatic, it's very difficult to pull in the cart and carry a child at once.
Two Bunch Palms has never disappointed. It is a serene, beautiful, and relaxing experience. We have been going for years and even though there have been changes, it is still the best choice for a spa vacation. I was disappointed by the fact that our room was not cleaned and we had to call for housekeeping. I was put on hold for an unacceptable time. When the room was finally cleaned at 6:30 PM., it wasn't restocked with everything, and the bed was not made up.
