Pretty aged facility...
Room was bigger and better equipped than we expected. The convenience of the shuttlebus and availability of early breakfast made it the ideal location for visiting Disney.
Great hot breakfast as well as evening reception meal. It was close 5min drive to Disneyland Resort parking. Paying extra for hotel parking, $12/night.
Loved the hot breakfast! Service was excellent! The pillows were uncomfortable.
The managers reception is poor. It appeared that lots of children travel and the reception was not to theier liking. Popcorn and some kind of crackers. At least, an ice cream fountain would make the children happy. If the children are happy, the parents are happy.
Great location, love the made to order breakfast and the gift shop on site which had Disney gifts on sale Chairs in the room were falling apart, hole in the wall was a horrible patch job with a weird yellow gloss on it that made it look gross. It's a nice looking hotel just not well taken care of
Great facilities. Great breakfast. Great room. Great cocktail hour every afternoon (rude bartender). $15 per night for parking (they didn't mention that when booking). The bartender at the cocktail hour was very rude.
I was so grateful they put out Cold Cucumber water ( also reg and another flavor) on the HOT days. It was refreshing and very Appreciate! I've been staying at this location when I'm in the area and will continue to. The only One thing I could say is the elevator was out... made it hard... but it was fixed by the next day.
Easy access via shuttle which is convenient. The shuttle/parking should be free for guests... I wouls have given an extra star for the extra value.
What a friendly and service oriented team! Made us feel very welcome and well taken care of.
Staff was very courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service. The location was great. Loved taking the shuttle to Disneyland from the hotel. Hotel is well kept. Loved the lobby - spacious. The Starbucks, gift shop and deli. Even thought we felt self parking was expenses we appreciated that the parking was adjacent to the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and we look forward to staying there again. The mattress' were not comfortable. The pillows looked worn, pretty flat. Housekeeping didn't leave us enough towels on two days. We got confused when we drove up to the hotel and staff (not sure if they were all Valet staff) came to our car and immediately asked us if self park or valet. and began to pull our bags out of the card. We had no idea what we were going to do without checking in first. That was a bit overwhelming. We felt self parking was too expenses.
The hotel has an amazing staff. The two restaurants are very good and offer really good food unlike most hotel restaurants. We had the one bedroom suite and it was very clean. The hotel has its own shuttle bus going to and from Disney check out is at 1200 am. I paid $170 per night and it was far better than the Fairfield inn by Marriott which is located right across the main entrance to Disney Land. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel!! The prices in the little store of the hotel are somewhat ridiculous but it is a great hotel. Parking is rediculous with $27 per night. One Bus is not enough during peak hours to get guests to park.
Loved the location, room cleaness, staff was very friendly and bed was confortable. Breakfast buffet was a bit over priced.
I have had a big problem staying there due to the feather pillows. The air system is very dusty with a poor filter. The pillows are full of dust. I had a bad allergic reaction to the dust. The service was very good.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful!
The hotel lobby was beautiful and the employees were very nice. We had 3 different groups of family coming in and the person who checked us in gave us top notch service and was able to let us check-into our rooms early. He even let us have free shuttle tickets for everyone for Disneyland. I definitely will be back. With a group of 12 of us it was much easier to have the breakfast buffet at the restaurant in the lobby. it turned out great!
It was clean, convenient for our conference, room was comfortable, staff and service was above expectations. Hotel food/restaurant/bar was good. Also close to other restaurants.
Everything was very good overall and with a few minor issues (mostly personal things) they did a very good job with everything. Room was clean, as well as the bathroom. View was super nice and clear from the 16th floor, south tower. Staff in hotel was courteous and fast. Soap in bathroom was used. TV was pure static. No complimentary breakfast. Valet was sort of rude.
As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed, It was our hotel choice as newly weds on our honeymoon and Helen the front desk coordinator was great! She bumped our room from standard king to a full suite!! Must I add she also gave us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine!! This was all unexpected! I would definitely book here again and recommend it! :)
This is our 4th stay in Hyatt regency orange county this represent how we are loyal to this hotel we just feel like home
Great hotel!! called the reception desk to push back my check in time, they were nice and friendly -both times, and very welcoming when we finally got in about 1am. Hotel is very nice and clean. Very comfortable! About 5 min drive from disneyland and after passing through the hotels located across from disney, looked much nicer inside and out!!! Would definitely stay again! The only complaint was no actual snack machines in the building, when traveling with hungry children, this is a must!!
The staff on this Sheraton went beyond in serving you to the upmost. They were friendly, helpful, very courteous, professional and treated you as a friend. The only problem was the parking situation... insufficient parking. And the only other problem was being charged for the use of the shuttle. I remember when all shuttle service was free when being transported to Disneyland. I think that for better customer service, free shuttle service would mean a great deal to the customers staying at the Sheraton.
Stayed here twice in the last 2 years really nice hotel really clean just really far from Disneyland and shuttle is slow.
This hotel was great. Took the family to Disneyland in August of 2010 and was very happy with the room and the staff. They had shuttle service to the park for a fee ($3.00) however only con about that was that it was shared with other adjacent hotels. The shuttle trip took about a half hour to get to Disney and same when you return to your hotel. Other then that it was a beautiful room with very comfortable beds and pillows. The friendly staff helped out with early check in and kept our party of 12 in adjacent rooms. Would definitly stay again!!
When we got into our room I was happy to see how spacious it was! Not overly huge but a nice amount of room. The beds were comfy and there were nice fluffy pillows. The linens were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious and clean and the shower had a good spray. The hotel is in a great location also. Right across the street is a Target, Walgreens, and a Cocos restaurant. Right next door are a few restaurants including a Red Robin. We walked over for dinner one night. They also have a shuttle to Disneyland that runs every 30 min.
The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. One negative about this hotel is that it has NO parking. We got charged $15/day for parking priviledge, but everyday, we struggled to find a parking space. During the day, we had to park in the shopping/restaurants near by and walked back to the hotel, then at night, we had to move the car from another parking location to park in the hotel parking lot. The hotel should not charge for parking if they cannot acccomodate it. It was very frustrating for us.
I was impressed with quality of the hotel for the price; however, the beds were not the most comfortable. My husband and I are used to having a king size bed, but were sharing a room so had the 2 queens. It was not the best, but not the worst either. Overall, I would stay here again. Close and convenient to Disneyland with a shuttle, and lots of different restaurants available. Also, if going to Disneyland, check into the parking package ($15 a night) with 2 free shuttle tickets and in room internet. You pay $12 for parking anyways, might as well pay $3 more and get internet and 2 free shuttle tickets.
Took a family member to Disneyland during Spring Break and had a wonderful stay! The rooms were very nice, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to accomodate 4 travelers. Hotel is walking distance to eateries (Red Robin and Joe's Crab Shack) and directly across the street from Target. The hotel also provided shuttle service ($3/rt) to Disney Parks. I only used my rental car to travel to/from airport. Please be aware hotel does charge for self parking, however it is worth it. I would definately stay again!
I STAYED THERE FOR ONE NIGHT TO SURPRISE MY BOYFRIEND WHO WAS COMING BACK HOME. I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THAT I ROOM WAS BIG AND IT HAD THAT ROMANTIC FEEL. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND THE BATHROOM WAS LOVELY! I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO SPEND A PEACEFUL QUIET/ROMANTIC NIGHT WITH THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHER.
Breakfast crew. Excellent. Having to pay for daily parking when the Hampton Inn next door had free parking!!!!!
Good location, clean rooms, pleasant staff. Parking fee, housekeeping was still cleaning rooms at 5:00 p.m.
I like the location of the hotel. it was convenient40 z traveling around easy traveling around the area. In addition, it was near a strip mall and a wide variety of restaurants. I was under the impression that it was a non smoking hotel. I woke up two days in a row with my newborn's hair smelling with the stench of smoke from the comforter. The staff were not friendly. they constantly asked my two ethnic teenagers for their room key each time they entered the hotel. And once they took the key from my son when he was trying to use the vending machine to verify my name on the reservation before returning it back to him. lastly when I was attempting to get the continental breakfast, I learned that you had to pay for the breakfast. For some reason my son and i were picked out randomly amongst an entire crowd of people to be asked for a buffet a ticket.I inform them that I thought it was included being the fact that a majority of hotels I have stayed in have always included continental breakfast. Instead of her explaining to me nicely and in a professional tone, the staff member it loudly and rudely told me" you don't have any money you have to pay to eat here" I was so embarrassed that I just put the food down and walked away. of course I have money to pay for the breakfast if I have money for the hotel duh! She could have kindly informed me that it was not included with the traditional hotels day and that a buffet voucher can be purchased at the front desk or bill to my room. I just found it strange that she picked us out of the entire crowd to ask us.i did not appreciate her loud talking me. I also did not appreciate the other staff members standing around me and my son as if we were going to cause a commotion.amongst a few other things that take too much time to mention, I just decided to come upstairs and pack my bags and leave. I decided to stay at another hotel for the rest of our trip. such a disappointment
I was disappointed that there is no "complimentary breakfast". For the price, you would expect not to have to pay that much for a breakfast. This would prevent me from staying at this hotel again. I would choose one with complimentary breakfast.
Facilities were very clean. The location was very convenient. The shuttle was a quick 5 minute ride to Disneyland. It was about a1 hour drive (with traffic) to Universal Studios. Bed was a little stiff and the pillows were very squishy. If staying for a while and you like to unpack, there's only an armoire.
Nice shower, breakfast, and bed was comfy. The staff was amazing. Several surfaces in the room were sticky so I had to wipe them down with a wet wash cloth before settling in.
Close to facilities such as Disneyland.
The location and the complimentary breakfast. there were only 2 elevators. It became very crowded at times. They had women competing in a competition that was not family friendly attire.
Would prefer to have a restaurant or eating options in the hotel.
Staff was very helpful in answering all of our questions. They were out of tickets for Disney but did get us taken care of for shuttle passes. Room was clean and bed felt great after a long day at the park. The provided continental breakfast was good, wish the hours went a little later for it. Had to pay for parking which seems to be an annoying trend that's becoming common with hotels. Just another fee they tack on to a ton of others. Most people who travel have a car when arriving at their hotel-seems unfair to pay to park where you're staying.
