Front desk was fine. Very friendly. But they had a problem giving a room. Cleaning guys out side. Very rude and make me uncomfortable. They were not friendly and unwelcoming .
Not much left at 9:30am, came back at 1:30, room not touched. Left at 2:00 pm returned at midnite, still dirty I'll never stay there again!!!! House keeping sucked.
location for my needs in this trip to Orange County Indifference of staff to several issues. The lights in the hallway to my room were burned out, making for a dark walk to the room. The light over the shower in the bathroom was also burned out. Nothing was done about either issue. No extra signage to aid in entering the property due to road construction. It was very difficult to figure out how to get to the motel from the road.

Die Teller und Besteck am Frühstück waren routinemäßig schmutzig. Die Handtücher hatten Flecken von früherer Verwendung. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber.

I have religiously stayed at this Laguna Cliff Marriott for close to 20 years . But on several occasions , this last trip was the worst , where your check out experience ruins the wonderful memories of the entire stay . Most customers would never come back , but the reason I keep coming back only to encounter check out nightmares . For instance . I book my room there through Kyyack who send my reservation and payment on to Expedia , who email me my confirmation number and itenerary for my 2 nights. Because of a flight councilation by AA.com I am forced to just move my 2 nights forward 1 day and notify both Expedia and the Laguna Cliff's , and they both confirm no problem no change in rates . So at check out my $159.00 all inclusive rate per night had changed a little less than $900 including my payment to Expedia for one night , and because the airlines had lost my luggage and my money and medicines and all my clothes I didn't have sufficient funds to pay the inflated rate and refused to allow me to pay by check even with my bank president on the phone garrateeing available funds . So I had told the manager I had $300 in cash for an emergency , to which she said use your emergency cash or don't leave the property . So I left with $25 dollars to get to San Jose to meet with Ebay and then back to LA for my flight home . I was able to sell my $1200 iPhone for $550 to enable me to have a place to sleep the next night , and in Silicon Valley $550 doesn't get you much of a room . AA.com still has not found my luggage with my billfold medicine , keep in mind I was just recovering for 2 complete hip replacements . So with no money to drive back to LA to turn my car into Hertz and fly home , I was forced to turn my car into Hertz at the San Francisco International Airport which changed my Hotwire rate of $10.95 per day for 6 days into an $895 dollar charge that included the payment I had already paid Hotwire for the entire week . Finally at AA.com's counter I explain I have no options , no money to drive back to LA to fly home and that I pleaded with her to change my ticket at no charge to fly back from San Francisco to home and she reluctantly agreed but only if I took the red eye . I explained I had not eating almost 2 days , she said do you want this deal take it or get out of my line and contact AA.com/Customer Relationships . Next
Location Extra daily resort fee. No slippers or free bottled water for Marriott member. Valet parking not answering phone. Only valet parking available. Bathroom cabinetry old and worn out. Poor water pressure for shower.
We really enjoyed our stay there. They went out of their way to make sure that our room was everything that we wanted. The service was incredible, always so warm and welcoming. We will definitely be going back for a longer stay.
We have stayed many times at the Ritz Laguna, but since undergoing a complete renovation its truly spectacular. The ocean views are to die for.
The entire hotel staff knew my name from the moment I walked in the door. Everyone was friendly and everything from the food to the room was excellent. I enjoyed the pool and the room was big and spacious but comforting and welcoming at the same time. I'll definately stay again.
