Booked a king size suite. Checked in with the front office. When I arrived at room, discovered 2 full/queen beds. I called front desk and they said no king size suites were available but the 2 beds were an upgrade. Could not get remote to turn on TV so called the front desk 3 different times the next hour but phone just rang and tang. Finally discovered remote did not work so had to use controls on the TV itself.
This hotel room size was okay, however, if you're staying more than one day, pack your own towels. There was a charge per person to replace towels beyond one day. This is unsat!! What is really the problem with supply linen and towels.
A very central location, right off the main highway. The room was clean with the exception of the curtains that have seen better days. I do not spend much time in the room so for my needs of a secure, clean, well priced room is critical it was just right. About the only complaint I would have is that they would start vacuming the hallway at nine in the morning, not allowing for extended sleep if out on the town the night before. No hallway vacuming till at least ten in the morning should be allowed.There was a pool and a very nice lobby with breakfast items. I was very pleased with the front desk service and the whole stay. When visiting this area of Dallas I will stay again if the price remains competative.
Centrally located, clean, helpful staff, continental breakfast (not on weekends).
Phone filthy. Sink dirty and horrible stench. Towel bar falling off of wall. Bed frame full of dust & dirt. Coffee pot in room dirty. No decaf coffee available this time. (3rd stay here) Reduced breakfast offerings. Smoke alarm expired 2005. Smoke alarm not connected to network cable. Bath tub drain stopper broken. Phone message system not working. Local phone book 4 years out of date. No wash cloths in room but front desk brought some. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and there have been problems each time but this was the worst.
I won't stay here again. Taking the hotel off my options for this trip next year. There is 'stuff' on the picture frames, stains on the curtains, no hangers, a phone without digits or buttons and doesn't work plus the bed is like lying on the floor. There are exposed nail holes in the walls (as if they just didn't feel like filling them when they removed artwork). Paper thin walls allowed me to arise with the baby next door. 1 treadmill in the fitness room (which I should have checked before booking) and as a runner, that is a huge feature for me. While it is a less expensive hotel, I've stayed in Homesteads in Austin for the same price and were absolutely happy, I've also staying in Homestead in a different part of Dallas for the same price and was extremely pleased with their accommodations.
This hotel is in a great location in Richardson, however if you stay less than 7 days you will not receive any services offered at other hotels. No linen service, no vacuuming, no trash pickup. Although the vacuums and carts were spotted in the hallways, I don't think they get used. The entrys and stairs were never vacuumed or cleaned in my 4 day stay. Trash was piled on trash cans for a full day before it was removed. The rooms are nice sized and well planned with kitchenettes and full bath - but a clean/vacuumed room would add a nice touch.
The hotel was exactly what I needed & wanted,nothing to expensive & fancy it served my needs perfectly.The location was perfect only about 15 or 20 minutes to my son's house.Good location for reaching the expressways to get anywhere you needed to be.I certainly would stay with them again.
My family and I stayed at this hotel and would recommend to anyone with children. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The day we arrived it rained so the city closed the pool. BIG dissappointment for our three boys. The day clerk made arrangments at another hotel across the street for us to swim in their pool. Had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
Initially it wasn't easy to locate, as it is behind Wendy's on E. Campbell. But its location was a prime draw because it's away from the Central Expressway traffic noise and was nice and quiet. The room was very nice. It wasn't well stocked with toiletries (had to wash our hair with the supplied packet of dish soap the first night), and there was no back-up roll of toilet paper. The night clerk searched everywhere for additional rolls but was only able to find a half-roll and a box of tissue. That didn't really bother me. Honestly, even though it's a place without daily maid service, we liked that. It allowed us to feel more like it was our 'home away from home.' Who needs clean sheets every day? More towels would have been nice, but the trade-off of such a nice room at a good value was worth it. We will stay there again.
We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights during our relocation to Dallas, primarily due to price and location. We were somewhat hesitant to stay there. However, we found the hotel to be clean and well cared for, and we found the staff to be polite and very helpful. We were surprisingly pleased with our overall stay, and will stay there again during our transition. It is not a luxury property, but it is very good value for the price.
It was convient for what i needed. Price through 3rd party wasn't bad. Rooms were ok. The way staff treated myslef as well as third party purchase
The indoor pool No extra fold out bed. I booked a room for 4 adults and the choice s were a king or two doubles. No fold out couch in the room. No wifi for my kids kindles and you have to pay to park! $15 a day for self park! In Richardson!!!!!!!

Indoor pool is not heated as advertised. Staff was informed of issued and nothing was done to remedy problem. In fact the staff said that all was fine with the pool. Parking fees are also falsely advertised, we informed clerk upon check in and staff verified that indeed the advertised fee was correct, upon leaving garage after checkout, parking attendant charged the fee that was posted on signage. We are very disappointed and dissatisfied with our stay and with the staff and false advertising!
We purchased the breakfast buffet with our stay and were very satisfied. The food was very well prepared, fresh, and tasty. Coffee in the restaurant was very good. The water in the room has a very strong odor and taste, this is very common in Texas and somewhat detracts from the overall ambience.
Loved the view, atmosphere, decorations, and cleanliness I didn't like how the room keeping staff would knock on d door so early in d morn after I left specified in d office that I would let them know when I wanted room service for cleaning. She knocked really hard that she woke us up twice and didn't get the hang that if we were not answering was because we were still asleep.
The cookie. Not having a do not disturb sign. I would have liked to sleep in.
Nothing Couldnt make my reservation due to a family emergency. The hotel wouldn't refund me my room. I will never stay at ANY Hilt on hotel EVER AGAIN.

Didn't give me back my deposit! Rude people, poor service, no one answers the phone and room service is a joke
One of the staff members tried to hustle me for breakfast upon check in. He said breakfast was not complimentary, but He could give it to me for $15 extra. After I said no that's ok, he said I'll give it to you for free then. Of course I took it, but why not say that in the first place instead of asking me for $15 extra? HUSTLE MOVE.

Clean room. No bath robe provided. Only 2 keys for 4 adults. Not enough towels. Front desk person was slow and taking a long time for checkin.
The room was nice and clean and quiet. The front desk seemed to be struggling with checking people and answering questions. The rest of the staff was there to strictly do their job. They were not concerned with greeting guests and serving them. We would stay here again but the hotel has room for improvement. The breakfast was fair. The breakfast serving area is extremely small for the size of the hotel and number of guests. The layout of breakfast and flow of the breakfast line is inefficient.
The room design was appealing and comfortable. One of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in (and I travel a fair amount). Good breakfast.

Room was quiet and hotel was very clean. Paid extra for the breakfast, and glad we did. Fresh and made-to-order. Front desk clerk was warm and friendly. Will stay here again.
Hotel room was comfortable and clean. Had refridgerator and microwave as standard accomodations which was nice. Also, nice restaurants within one mile. Not close to airport.
